Get on 'yer bike!

 

This first outing will be a gentle ride to Fradley Junction for a stop at the café and nature reserve by the canal. It is appropriate for all ages and abilities.  As well as some old favourites returning for the 2012 programme, there will be a new ride to the National Memorial Arboretum in the summer. Distances vary from as little as 9 miles through to 23 miles, and the rides always arrive at somewhere scenic or interesting.

To join the rides, just bring your bicycle, safety helmet, a picnic and yourself to Freedom Cycles in Lichfield at 10am on the first Sunday of the month. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact Freedom Cycles on 01543 411633 or the Jigsaw community shop on 01543 253666.

The free rides take place on the first Sunday of every month:·         
1 April to Fradley (extended route) - 12 miles·         
6 May to Whittington - 9 miles·         
3 June to National Memorial Arboretum - 18 miles·         
1 July to Chasewater - 18 miles·         
No ride in August ·         
2 September to Barton Marina - 23 miles·         
7 October to Fradley (extended route) – 12 miles
