Lichfield Garrick has been awarded £279,446 as part of the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund (CRF) to help face the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic and to ensure they have a sustainable future, the Culture Secretary has announced today.
St Giles Hospice is celebrating the dedication and hard work of its long-serving staff and volunteers this week – despite celebrations being adapted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
St Giles Hospice is inviting people to light up a life and remember loved ones who are no longer with us this Christmas.
Lichfield Garrick Theatre is again working with businesses to help families who are suffering bereavement, illness, or trauma attend its socially-distanced pantomime this Christmas. Sponsored family tickets will be distributed to deserving people by local charities.

A survey of visitors to Lichfield Cathedral over the summer of 2019 showed that over 60% of visitors feel that the Cathedral belongs to the whole community. The three distinctive spires have been a beacon of hope to the city and its visitors for hundreds of years, and many have found solace and rest within its ancient walls.
