We had an excellent visit here today, made very welcome by all of the Staff, I would recommend the Land Train £6 if you have not been before as you get taken around most of the site and you can make your way back to anything in particular that you want to see. Some very moving memorials and monuments to me the most poignant was The Shot At Dawn Memorial which depicts the young soldiers of WW1 shot because they were very very frightened and ran away later to be pardoned in 2006. Must compliment the excellent Sunday Roast i sought out the Chef afterwards to thank her put that into a Pub environment with a blazing fire you would be onto a winner
2 Observations I see that yet again Bomber Command has no memorial (They were not murderers they did an exceptional job in difficult times) secondly why do you not charge a nominal entrance fee of £2/3 I do not think most people would object and it would bring in a tremendous amount of money

This is an amazing place to visit. Everyone is helpful and friendly. With many memorials for various forces, life boats, police, millitary and even babies who are born sleeping are remembered here. Peaceful spots to sit and reflect, give thanks and remember all we have lost. There's something for everyone and is easy to get around no matter to ability level.
