This large grounding experience i well worth it. It boasts a 158 acre land with many memorials from trainees to veterans. It has a reasonable car park charge £4 all day (as of date uploaded) resterant and facilities. Play parks for all ages including romps in the woods and a Stickman discorvery walk (julia donaldson charicter). River side walks with all ability terrain. And many sculptures scattered arround the grounds. Beautful to walk or sit and remember.

Such a lovely peaceful place, we visited during the autumn fair (our first visit 2019). The stalls were full of wonderful items and there were activities for the children.

Update: we visited today (our second visit) 26/7/20, we felt so safe and enjoyed our time there. They have organised the site well with social distancing and takeaway available from the restaurant. I can highly recommend visiting but you do need to book a time slot online.
Well done and thank you to the staff for making our experience stress and hassle free.

Such a special place and so much to see and walk around. You need to book timed tickets to go and visit at the moment but it is well worth doing - we highly recommend it. We went on the first weekend they were opening up again and gradually more things are opening up e.g. the shop and the cafe etc. We had a lovely 3 hour walk around the whole site. Staff are incredibly friendly and well-versed in waht to do about Covid - felt very safe and secure there.

Such a beautiful place with so many things to see. Wonderful walks surrounded by trees of many types and flowers. The memorials are so varied and interesting but it's not a sad place, reflective yes. Lovely cafe. There is even a train ride and a Stick Man trail for the children. Very well worth a visit or three

A beautifully kept, spacious and tranquil place. There is so much to see and learn by visiting here. Memorials are not just related to war - there are many other adults and children remembered here. Everything was well managed and staff were friendly and professional. We could have booked tickets to go round on the little train but wanted to walk round as it was such a lovely day. We will certainly be visiting again as we didn't see everything.

Lovely day out at the Arboretum. Friendly welcome from really helpful staff who explained how things work there during COVID restrictions. Took advantage of the land train to see the site as you wouldn’t have time to walk the whole area. Very thought provoking, lots of interesting monuments and memorials.

Nice restaurant and BBQ and ate in the Heroes Square area due to social distancing.
