We can't believe that we haven't visited before. This place is huge. Quite rightly, the amount of thought and attention put in to these memorials is incredible. Definitely worth a visit.

A great place to spend a couple of hours light walking. Lots of monuments to see. Lots of paths and scenery. Currently due to covid you have to book online. Costs 4 quid per car. The restaurant is shut but you can get tea and snacks to take out. The gift shop is open and so is the toilets.

We The 22nd Rider can only say good things about all the staff at the Arbouretum. They have treated us so well in getting our plaques bought and placed in the N/ Ireland wood

Beautiful place, extremely well looked after. Takeaway coffees and cakes available during lockdown 2. Buggy friendly and the staff are amazing, they couldn't do enough to help me find the memorial I was looking for in memory of a late grandad. They took us there personally, it was like having a personal tour guide, he explained the history of events for the memorial and then left us to spend time there. They are continually adding new memorials and they are very nicely spaces out, so much to see that in 2 hours we probably only covered half if not less so we will be going back again. Its free to get in but parking is £4 per car and you have to book prior to your visit at the minute. We'll worth a visit. *****

What a glorious place to remember all those lost to us and acknowledge how they served their country. It is beautifully laid out, with an air of serenity that shows respect and admiration for all those who have served. It was a grey day, and despite Covid restrictions which were well organised the day was well worth it.

The grounds are very well laid out are easily accessible, the main walls are full of the names of the fallen, which makes you think of what these people went through. I visit every year with the RTTW charity

My son really wanted to visit the NMA for his birthday and after going online realised you had to book due to Covid 19. Unfortunately there were no slots available for the weekend as it was only a few days before. I contacted theArboretum to see if we could possible attend and then emailed back saying we could under the circumstances and we had a very happy birthday boy! We visited on the Saturday and was welcomed warmly, did all the Covid secure check in and was shown around the map and help to plan our day. We started off at the coffee shop with a hot chocolate and started to explore. The volunteers were really helpful and knowledgeable and the kids enjoyed learning the secret whispering of the national memorial. We had a lovely day reflecting and looking at the monuments and learning a lot more about our military history. We spend 3 hours there but could have spent longer and will definitely be returning.
