The thing that hits you first is the complete peacefulness people are quietly reflecting and the monuments are jaw dropping ......there are benches everywhere to give you the chance to sit and read the regiments & names of persons who have given their lives (all different nationalities). Be prepared to not see all on first visit, so a second, third of fourth visit could be necessary

Really a great place to visit. The land train was a good thing to do to get a but of a guided tour without having to walk far. We'll worth it even if you have no military connections.

Second visit and still not able to see the whole place. One of the best memorial sites in the UK to visit. Apart from the memorials the lawns and gardens are a credit to the site

First visit. Booked in advance. No problems parking. Check in smoothly done. Had a quick cuppa and a sandwich (lovely) then set off exploring. Very large area to cover, didn't manage to see everything. Very moving. Take comfy shoes. Will be back.
