Beautiful place, lots of space, good covid controls, and, of course, very poignant, especially the Armed Forces Memorial. So many names.........

Beautifully kept grounds, lots to see and take in. Some play areas for children and the cafe is reasonably priced. A lovely day out, we will be returning. :)

Beautiful and large arboretum with so many interesting memorials to wander around and read. There's a gorgeous walk by the river. Definitely worth a visit, and will take a good few hours to fully explore.

A very moving and memorable experience. All staff were so helpful and friendly: from our parking experience, train ride, ice cream and refreshments. We would love to come back as the seasons change to witness more of the thought that has gone into the design and planning. A very special day. Thank you to everyone.

Great day and very emotional seeing all the memorials particularly the POW cabin and shot at dawn, some so young but now have the pardon they absolutely deserve.

Amazing memorial to those who have served their countries in so many ways. Not a depressing place but rather uplifting. Lovely staff, great cafe. Great place.

Fantastic. A MUST SEE for everyone of call ages and nationalities before you die. Unique. For once we have something which is better than any other country can offer. Stunning. Moving.Sad. Inspiring.<br>Manicured. You realise as you walk round how clever the landscapers and patrons of the Arboretum are. Every memorial. Campaign.walkway.tree cultivation . Has been carefully planned and executed.

Lovely, peaceful, so beautiful! It has matured a lot since I was last there. The little train ride was very helpful. The food was excellent, and the weather was perfect!

You can treat the National Arboretum either as a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the trees and gardens or as a place to reflect on the sacrifices others have made. If you go for one, you will also end up doing the other.

The arboretum is largely staffed by volunteers, and you should make use of them. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and can always tell you a story behind a particular memorial. Entrance is free (£4 to park), with all the profits from the sales in the cafés and shop going to support the arboretum, and for a small fee of £4 one of the volunteers will take you on a walking tour of the site - again the money goes to the arboretum.

You must go there if you get the chance.

A lovely peaceful place to pay our respects. I do however feel that dogs should not be allowed in (except assistance dogs and special circumstances) as dogs yapping in the outside cafe area and in the areas stating assistance dogs only did spoil our visit. It's a beautiful haunting place, very well cared for and with very helpful staff.
