A wonderful place of Remembrance, very moving and emotional. Very friendly helpful staff. The little Train ride worth using to give an overview of the grounds. Good facilities for all visitors with cafe, displays and rest rooms. I short service held in the Chapel twice each day. To explore on foot is best way and you could easily spend a whole day visiting the many Memorials to those who have served in the Military and those who lost their lives in service.

What a great place this is!<br>Beautifully laid out and very poignant tributes to our forces!<br>Very good cafeteria which was able to cope really well with large volumes of people<br>We were impressed with everything we saw at the Arboretum<br>No charge to visit but donations are welcome to keep this lovely place going!<br>Such pleasant staff & volunteers who are so willing to help and chat<br>Thank you

I was there with some ex-Royal Artillery soldiers. It was my first time. Wonderful experience & gardens. Really worth a visit.

Well worth a visit, lots of history. Cafe was very busy but food was nice, great clean toilet facilities and plenty of provision for disabled visitors.

Such a poignant place for reflection and contemplation amongst the peaceful setting , the irony that the peace sits in juxtaposition to the conflict experienced by many who have lost their lives war, it is impossible to not be moved , the great Wilfred Owen says "war is futile", how many more lives are to be lost not only in our county but around the world before we can celebrate compassion and kindness instead of needing rituals to weep and remember those who had never been intended to go when they did.

Easy car parking, free entry, voluntary donations encouraged. Very large grounds, accessible for prams and wheelchair users. Very moving and humbling experience. Only stayed for 2 hours and didn't see everything.

We had the most amazing day, Geoff was our buggy driver for the day. He was very knowledgeable and helped us see everything at the Arboretum. The memorials are so emotional and so varied. We cried and laughed all day. Stick Man was also there with all his friends for the children to find.

When I inquired about a multi-faith prayer area, the receptionist was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to help me find a suitable space. This attention to visitor needs is appreciated, though having a dedicated multi-faith room would be a valuable addition for the diverse backgrounds of people who visit the arboretum.<br><br>Parking cost £6 on my visit, and admission was free. The site also includes a well-stocked gift shop and a spacious restaurant area with indoor and outdoor seating, providing ample options for dining or relaxing. A sunny day enhances the visit, as the grounds are best enjoyed with clear skies.<br><br>Highly recommend this as a meaningful and memorable outing!
