Found it to be very emotional, as the various memorials triggered memories of colleague's who had 'Crossed the Bar' during the 1982 Falkland's conflict.
Members of staff were excellent in their dealing with the public.

the ease of access , coupled with the enthusiasm of the staff, especially Clare, who was on the reception desk.when we arrived, Clare was able to help local the persons position at the various memorials, and gave a detailed map with directions. a must if you intend visiting . our only regret was we were unable to stay very long. to appreciate the memorial one really needs a full day or two. cannot impress enough, this is a definite go to place for ALL British and overseas visitors .

Attended the unveiling of a new memorial for the Women's Royal Air Force. Amazing place. Memorials to those who have served in the military other than World War1 and WW2.

Having heard so much about this location, we felt it was somewhere we wanted to experience for ourselves and we were not disappointed. It is a memorial worthy of all those it represents. It is not just a war memorial, but so much more, as it represents many individual group memorials in one place. It was well worth the train tour of the site as there was so much information to absorb. The tour also explained the significance of the memorabilia used in the construction of various memorials. It was also encouraging to see memorials from colonial countries who contributed to the British empires ear effort.
The site has ample car parking, and good facilities in the way of toilets and restaurants. Whilst we were there we had several fly pasts from the RAF of both Hercules aircraft And two Chinook helicopters. This is a must see for all generations as part of people's education.

Come here all the time with our grandchildren, aged 2 and 5. Two imaginative playgrounds, a giant Stickman, on which little ones can climb and sit on his lap, masses of paths and peaceful green spaces to explore, never too busy, great restaurant, cannot recommend too highly. Prebooking required, only cost is £4 to park.

This is one of the best places I have ever visited in the UK. If you have any interest in the armed forces or military history you must visit here. It covers a vast area and is full of many different monuments to various regiments, sectors and departments of the British and foreign forces. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful and serves as a wonderful tribute to those who have suffered in various conflicts all over the world. Was brilliant to chat to some veterans from the Gordon Highlanders who had been there for a dedication the day before and were clearly enjoying their visit. Most of the paths around the massive site are very level but it was fantastic for me to be able to hire a mobility scooter to get around the place. All staff on site were exceptionally helpful and well informed and really helped the overall experience. I would describe this place as a must visit location if you are visiting anywhere in the West Midlands region.

This is a very special place. The sheer variety of memorials and landscapes is quite stunning. You need to allow a good three hours to cover the main sights. We had to return a second day to complete nearly everything. There is also good play areas for children, a good cafe and shop as well as a very interesting indoor exhibition. Don't forget to look in the Far East exhibit which is quite easy to miss but we'll worth the visit.

Beautiful grounds, very large, you need a day to see around and would probably need to come again. Restaurant, serve yourself and shop, toilets, everything spotless. Much to read and see inside too. Entrance is free but £4.50 to park all day. Plenty of places to sit. Transport around on buggies for those who need it.

Great walk around the grounds to see all the memorials from the great wars and the other wars and the police memorial as well, I just ask one question about these conflicts and just ask why?, is it really worth it, it just makes you think about these things when you walk round

Of all the memorials l though the polish memorial stood out. I came to see the RAOC memorial they were all outstanding good work by the voulenteers .only complaint was the train ride.broks down twice not worth £7.

A fantastic site and beautifuly done, the parked is large with memorials all round. I'm sat in "Hereos' Square" writing this via the free wi-fi. We walked round for an hour, went back to the car to collect our lunch which we are now enjoying in the bright warm Autumn sun. We'll be walking it off with further walking.
