Great theatre with a variety of different types of shows, been a few times now and always had brilliant time. Every seat has a good view, been near the front and also sat on the very back row and I can't complain about the view or the acoustics.
There is also good parking right next door on the multi storey car park.
Check out the website and if you book online you can even see the view of the stage from your choice of seat before you confirm your booking.
Good bars with quick service too and you can order your drink for the interval.
All in all a great little theatre in a great little city.

Saw Graeme of Thrones a few weeks ago, haven't laughed so much in ages. A great night out and nice to see a theatre full of variety.

A comfortable friendly theatre that offers a wide variety of performances. From original music, to plays and of course the very popular pantomime

We went to see the tribute band ELO Again! A good night was had by all, great show, great seats and a great price. One tip is I wouldn't buy on line and arrange for collection on arrival. The system failed and there were no tickets waiting for us, I really thought we were going to miss out. However they sorted it out in the end and printed off some new tickets - all's well that ends well!

We try to go to the Garrick at least twice a year as it has some great shows/pantos at a reasonable cost

Always a great evenings entertainment. New bar staff should be bit better trained before letting them loose on customers. I asked where door c was and the reply was "I'm sorry, I have no idea.". A little knowledge of the layout of the place would be worthwhile training.....or even if she had asked the guy serving next to her. Still a good evening though. Good variety of shows.

Spent the last few days in Lichfield area and went to see 2 shows over the weekend. Theatre is very easy to find, right near the bus station, train station, town centre etc.

I saw Talon both evenings, a tribute band of The Eagles, which I follow up & down the country. Shows really good as always, good acoustics in the theatre, not like some places where it echoes abit.
Have a nice bar area for pre show drinks.

All in all, a great theatre which I would return to in the future.

Had a great time visiting the theatre. The whole experience was fab - from pre show drinks to a great performance in a lovely auditorium. Interval drinks were ready so all was good. Theatre in great location close to bars, restaurants and parking. I would highly recommend the Garrick.

Went to see the Mousetrap on Saturday night 9 April. Very impressed with the Garrick, will definitely go again. Staff (a lady) on the Theatre door was very helpful and friendly. Had great seats (row C in the stalls) but in hindsight would book say row I as its on a slope and you have both the close view but also the full stage view. We were planning on eating pre show in the Green Room, but their menu was very limited and expensive for what the food on offer was but it would be ideal for a light meal. Loved the theatre layout, information available all around.

I attended the performance of Oliver in Saturday 12th March at 2:30pm and found that when myself and my two small children went to sit in our seats they were taken by other people instead. I had not purchased my tickets from the Garrick but through Walsall operatic society direct (who despite having sent several emails to are refusing to comment) so this is not the fault of the Garrick and they did do everything humanly possible to find us all seats close together so I will commend them highly for all of their effort. The staff from WOS were not bothered about the fact they had sold me the tickets and then resold them again and promised to rectify the situation during the first half of the show but in actual fact the guy left the theatre without attempting to sort out their messes or even an a simple apology about what was obviously their mess up.

The Garrick staff and management were amazing in doing their best when sorting out other companies inadequacies. Thank you again.

Great theatre. Lots of variety in show programmes and the smaller sub theatre ( called the studio) is simply superb. Well supported by local amateur societies too. Great value and can't go enough. Plenty of local parking too.

We are Friends of the Garrick but are concerned that some areas need to be reviewed.
e.g.
- a very cold theatre recently
- price of drinks, e.g. water bottle for £2
- tables in the 'Green Room' blocking movement. Why have 2 tables in the middle of what should be a walkway?
- Interval ice cream trolley is now positioned by the exit from the main auditorium. Crass decision - fire implications, blocks the entrance for people going to the bar, no where for people to queue for an ice cream without blocking all exits
- stewards seem badly trained. e.g. why don't they suggest that people with higher numbered seat get to their seats via the far alleyway instead of the near entrance, thus causing everyone in the row to have to stand up? Isn't rocket science.

Almost everything we have seen at the Garrick has been excellent, especially the recent Alan Ayckbourn play, 'Round and round the garden. It was a very classy production.
