SO much better than the large chains. Service was very personal, at my pace, full explanations of every aspect and they use state-of-the-art equipment, which was all comfortable to use and not daunting (which had been worrying me somewhat!). Mark was friendly, experienced and a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.

This is why David Arthur is now my optician: I was given a thorough and unhurried eye test, all my questions were answered and I also learnt a lot about the care of my eyes. When it came to dispensing my glasses Morgan talked me through the possible options, including the cheapest option of simply replacing the lenses in my existing glasses (something that was never offered to me as an otion at my previous, national chain optician). I never once felt like he was trying to "sell" to me, which can sometimes be the case with the national chains. I can now see why David Arthur have been around in Lichfield for so long. They simply look after each and every patient, based on their individual needs. I highly recommend them
