Accord have been incredibly helpful / accommodating with regards to making my will.
Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to re-arrange twice at short notice and Jodie managed to find me a convenient appointment each time which was greatly appreciated.
Carol who took me through the process was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful assisting me in getting the right will for my personal circumstances.

Received my first telephone appointment call from Sarah Danbury this afternoon, not only was she prompt, she was polite, knowledgeable and empathetic towards my situation. Having never even discussed this kind of thing before, she guided me through the different options available to me, providing reassurance throughout. I have requested time to discuss with family members prior to making my final decision, this was accepted without any issues, allowing my to wait until the new year, however stressing her availability to contact her with any queries or concerns at anytime. A pleasant conversation and a lovely lady. Looking forward to speaking again in the new year.

Recently put a Will together with Sarah Danbury who was extremely helpful. There were some difficulties at my side along the way but Sarah was patient and didn’t pester. She was professional throughout and we eventually finished it, ready to be drafted. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs a will.

Sarah Danbury was extremely knowledgeable and went through the whole process slowly enabling us to understand exactly what we were purchasing. She had a genuine friendly manor and I now see her a friend. She was especially good with my Mum whom struggled initially to understand the process. Sarah showed empathy, understanding with none of the hard sell I have experienced previously with other companies. When it clear my Parents were unsure she didn't pressurise them but allowed them the time to have a think and discuss it with family before committing. I would really recommend her and will certainly be using her again for further legal services.

Sarah has plenty of experience in this area of work and outlined all the options available - offering options and answering queries to allow me to chose. I have picked a product and asked for comparisons' between the options so ensure I was making the best choice. Sarah was chatty, pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable. The process was easy for me and I did not need time to consider I instructed to arrange my will and the extra parts as I had full faith in what Sarah was telling me - based on this interaction I would recommend accord and Sarah to family and friends

Spoke to Sarah today to write up my free will and she was lovely. Really informative and gave me good advice. I paid for some extra bits which was fine - it can’t all be free! But my mind was put to rest if I need to change anything.
I was advised it can take a while to receive and that if it doesn’t come by a certain date to get in touch. I feel much better knowing I have a will should anything happen to me.

They outsource to other companies which now nolonger work with them (Four Seasons) My mother and I each paid £4000 to Accord 6 months ago to open trust funds. We are still waiting for the paperwork. UPDATE since this review matters are now nearing resolution. Accord have been very helpful. I suggest you make certain you are dealing with Accord themselves and not a secondary firm to whom they offload.

I initially tried to contact Accord Legal Services for information on my Grandmother's will documentation, I didn't receive any response to my email or follow up call. However after they were made aware of this, they investigated the issue and it was due to the IT filters that the email with attachments was not received. They apologised and were helpful going forwards with this case. I would recommend following up any emails to avoid a delay or important information being missed.

I had my initial consultation with Ian today, he was extremely professional and assisted with my Basic will through the Key worker free scheme.

Good service.<br>Be mindful it will take 8-12 weeks to receive your will.<br>Mine came dead-on 12 weeks.<br>They are a small family run business so keep that in mind.<br>Had the free NHS Will service.<br>On receipt I had to amend a few things, but within a day via email, all updates made, proof seen and agreed and next day received the updated version.<br>Would be 5 stars if wasn’t for the long wait, but once received, all is good. Thank you

At first I would have given five stars. Making the will was easy and they were helpful. But I have been trying to alter will since the beginning of June. I phoned the office to enquire about how much to alter our wills and was told by a Young man to email my request which I did. I heard nothing. Phoned and a young lady told me she would find out and call me back, never happened.<br><br>Update from first review.<br>Back to five stars<br>Since my first review I have been contacted by head of partnership. I explained what had been going on and he looked into it. It turned out that my emails had a letter missing, instead of wills I had put will in the email. So they had not received them and they had not come back to me undelivered. Over the last couple of days he has sort out the alterations we want and sent us a draft to approve. This done he has said he will have them done first thing Monday. So yes I fully recommend the company because they were brilliant at first, and we got to the bottom of the problems getting alterations. Thank you Ed Stojanvic.

WILL WRITING SERVICE<br><br>My wife & I tasked Accord to assist with writing new wills, the initial booking & in turn the telephone appointment to take the details etc. were very good & efficient, sadly from there it’s been downhill.<br>Going on 5 months since the will consultation we have heard nothing, zero contact, not even an email or receipt for the monies paid.<br>I have since called them twice to be told firstly they sent the document in the post, that old chestnut, a legal document without recorded delivery, however they will send again recorded & email me a copy, yet nothing arrived, I have called again today & low & behold they can seem to access my file but will call me back! I eagerly await the next story but for now my advice is don’t touch them with a barge pole !<br>For clarity this was arranged with the Blue Light Scheme & although free a further storage fee was paid.<br>**EDIT**<br>After speaking with Aleena & posting this I now have email copies & awaiting paper copies, shame it took this & my time to reach a conclusion.

Bit of a bumpy start trying to get the free service for NHS professionals offered and not getting any reply until I left a negative Trust pilot review which triggered a reply (so -1 star for that). This was improved by Debbie when she got in touch and provided us with a bespoke thoughtful consultation with supportive communication and follow-up. If the initial response had happened without a Trustpilot review and we’d have had Debbie from the start, this would be a perfect five star review, because her work was absolutely perfect and cannot be faulted. Unfortunately, part way through this service before the process was complete I was contacted by someone else at Accord saying they hoped I was now happy and asking I change my review. This is quite a disappointing action as this premature pestering approach gave the impression the only reason we were paid attention to was to try and get us to change the review, not to actually do good work—which Debbie really did, and from a customers perspective this actually undermined that.
I am mindful that we got something for nothing here, go a ‘good’ 3 star overall, for something which for a free service that would have left us very easily pleased, could really have been an easy five star if they’d initially replied and not pestered us to say nicer things halfway through the job.

Excellent service from Ed Stojanovic. Very friendly and took time to explain everything as much as we needed. Set up my and my wife’s wills, LPA and family trust. We had the pleasure of dealing with Carol Dooley Estate Planning recently whereby she set up wills for my husband and me. I cannot recommend Carol more, she was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating (we had to reschedule a few times). I don't normally recommend people or request details so I may leave reviews but I just had to because not only is having a will in place so important for you and your loved ones, but knowing what you might need specifically for your circumstances and then having the nicest person talk you through it is a real bonus!
