At first I would have given five stars. Making the will was easy and they were helpful. But I have been trying to alter will since the beginning of June. I phoned the office to enquire about how much to alter our wills and was told by a Young man to email my request which I did. I heard nothing. Phoned and a young lady told me she would find out and call me back, never happened.

Since my first review I have been contacted by head of partnership. I explained what had been going on and he looked into it. It turned out that my emails had a letter missing, instead of wills I had put will in the email. So they had not received them and they had not come back to me undelivered. Over the last couple of days he has sort out the alterations we want and sent us a draft to approve. This done he has said he will have them done first thing Monday. So yes I fully recommend the company because they were brilliant at first, and we got to the bottom of the problems getting alterations. Thank you Ed Stojanvic.

WILL WRITING SERVICE
My wife & I tasked Accord to assist with writing new wills, the initial booking & in turn the telephone appointment to take the details etc. were very good & efficient, sadly from there it’s been downhill.
Going on 5 months since the will consultation we have heard nothing, zero contact, not even an email or receipt for the monies paid.
I have since called them twice to be told firstly they sent the document in the post, that old chestnut, a legal document without recorded delivery, however they will send again recorded & email me a copy, yet nothing arrived, I have called again today & low & behold they can seem to access my file but will call me back! I eagerly await the next story but for now my advice is don’t touch them with a barge pole !
For clarity this was arranged with the Blue Light Scheme & although free a further storage fee was paid.

After speaking with Aleena & posting this I now have email copies & awaiting paper copies, shame it took this & my time to reach a conclusion.

Bit of a bumpy start trying to get the free service for NHS professionals offered and not getting any reply until I left a negative Trust pilot review which triggered a reply (so -1 star for that). This was improved by Debbie when she got in touch and provided us with a bespoke thoughtful consultation with supportive communication and follow-up. If the initial response had happened without a Trustpilot review and we’d have had Debbie from the start, this would be a perfect five star review, because her work was absolutely perfect and cannot be faulted. Unfortunately, part way through this service before the process was complete I was contacted by someone else at Accord saying they hoped I was now happy and asking I change my review. This is quite a disappointing action as this premature pestering approach gave the impression the only reason we were paid attention to was to try and get us to change the review, not to actually do good work—which Debbie really did, and from a customers perspective this actually undermined that.
I am mindful that we got something for nothing here, go a ‘good’ 3 star overall, for something which for a free service that would have left us very easily pleased, could really have been an easy five star if they’d initially replied and not pestered us to say nicer things halfway through the job.

Jamie was amazing friendly and very professional. Our Will was not straight forward as not married and Partners house, I had invested money into this for renovations. Straight away he told us what we needed and explained the reason why to protect both parties. Thank you, Jamie you are an amazing asset to Accord, I have passed on details to family and friends so they can deal with you direct .

We had the pleasure of dealing with Carol Dooley Estate Planning recently whereby she set up wills for my husband and me. I cannot recommend Carol more, she was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating (we had to reschedule a few times). I don't normally recommend people or request details so I may leave reviews but I just had to because not only is having a will in place so important for you and your loved ones, but knowing what you might need specifically for your circumstances and then having the nicest person talk you through it is a real bonus! From the very start when i spoke to riyad islam all the way through the process where my case handler tamara khalili who handled my transaction very efficiently and professionally.
We were being pushed by the other sides solicitors so she really did prioritised my purchase made sure all enquiries were satisfied before exchange of contracts. She kept me informed all the way through the process was really easy to get in touch with for any updates and last week she made sure contracts were exchanged even when she was out the office her colleague eaman took care of the matter. I would really say they were a pleasure to work with as we will be completing tomorrow. Special thanks to tamara and riyad i will definitely be recommending friends and family to Ackroyd legal.
