We really loved our morning here - a wide variety of animals from monitor lizards to meerkats to marmoset moneys. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to share information about the animals in their care. Lots of new little buildings and shelters seem to be popping up and the area was generally tidy and clean, with the animals seeming to be well looked after.

Great little place... I've been there twice now with family. Kids love it and there's some activities for kiddos like bounce thingy etc. You can buy animal food and feed alpacas and sheep. There's some live events like you can hold snake etc. Recommended

My daughter and I did the VIP keeper experience. I didn't know what to expect but it was absolutely amazing. We met and fed so many animals and reptiles and got to go into loads of the enclosures. The keeper was lovely and so patient and knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend more.

Great day out, family friendly and affordable.
A nice experience taking the kids feeding the animals.

The staff were very friendly, the cafe seemed to serve great food although we didn’t eat from the cafe. We chose to grab pastries / sausage rolls from the fam shop - yum!

Being foodies - the highlight for us would be the farm shop, showcasing of local produce and the best of British.

Our kids had a gift where they got to walk some alpacas.... this was amazing and a really great experience for us all. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly and ensured our kids had fun whilst avoiding the kick zone if they got too close to the alpacas back end.
We weren't sure if the walk was initially going to take place though, as when we arrived a member of staff was just going home sick... the lady on reception looked a bit confused that we were there although we had booked the experience in advance and it took some checking that this could still go ahead. We would have been rather annoyed had this not been possible though, as we had travelled and I felt it unnecessary for us to be made aware that there staff changes would have an effect as an alternative (and fabulous guide was provided).
The only other negative was the onsite cafe... of the 10 tables there, 8 were reserved which on a Sunday is nuts. It's lovely that they have 'regulars' but when this leaves no space for folks trying to buy food now, rather than in a couple of hours. Whilst we were permitted to sit at one of these tables, we were advised that we would have to move in 40 minutes, leaving us only able to purchase sandwiches rather than the Sunday roast that we would all have bought. Don't be under illusions though that the time was flexible as two tables (one with a party of 9) were asked to move and go as Mrs such and such was arriving and always had their table! They had not finished...

Wonderful place for kids and adults with both reptiles and the more fluffy animals. They are very friendly, and you can feed most of them (they do get very excited at the sight of food!). The staff are very friendly too, but I don't think you are allowed to feed them ;) Be sure to say hello to the parrots!

Afterwards, you can sit down in the cafe where they serve delicious food and sell various products - from meat to colourfully named pickled onions.

Since I discovered this farm I’ve been back weekly with my toddler. I’ve brought different family /friends with me every time, all a range of ages and everyone has loved it! I think it’s such an Interactive place for the price you pay ( we have been on toddler mornings and normal admission on weekends) I can’t see how anyone is complaining about the price! I’ve paid over 4 times the price going to another local farm where we were bored after an hour

It’s a very toddler friendly outdoor area and definitely my favourite place to go!

The farm.was OK but we weren't able to even walk past the alpaca unless booked on the walk ...we couldn't have an emu feather unless with the birthday party and the small animal place was closed ...so when your 6 years old it's a bit disappointing

Lovely place to visit with the kids. We spent around 2 hours in there - feeding animals and playing in the play area.
Chinno and Bishop ( the owls), the 2 cucktoos , the alpacas & the llamas, the goats, Shetland ponies (Daisy and her family) are the STARS!!!!! (Along with all the reptiles at the entrance)
We were able to feed the animals, pet the owls and groom and take the Shetland pony for a small stroll.
Everyone working in here are very friendly and very patient with all the questions the kids and myself had about the animals.
Kids loved it so much that my daughter has already re-booked a visit on her birthday!!!!
Thank you all there.

We visited the farm today for Easter! We were extremely impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of all the staff members, everyone offered to get my 3 year old involved. The farm is lovely and extremely well looked after. It’s lovely to see a farm where the animals are so obviously well cared for. We can’t wait to return on a warmer day🌟
