Wonderful place for kids and adults with both reptiles and the more fluffy animals. They are very friendly, and you can feed most of them (they do get very excited at the sight of food!). The staff are very friendly too, but I don't think you are allowed to feed them ;) Be sure to say hello to the parrots!

Afterwards, you can sit down in the cafe where they serve delicious food and sell various products - from meat to colourfully named pickled onions.

Since I discovered this farm I’ve been back weekly with my toddler. I’ve brought different family /friends with me every time, all a range of ages and everyone has loved it! I think it’s such an Interactive place for the price you pay ( we have been on toddler mornings and normal admission on weekends) I can’t see how anyone is complaining about the price! I’ve paid over 4 times the price going to another local farm where we were bored after an hour

It’s a very toddler friendly outdoor area and definitely my favourite place to go!

The farm.was OK but we weren't able to even walk past the alpaca unless booked on the walk ...we couldn't have an emu feather unless with the birthday party and the small animal place was closed ...so when your 6 years old it's a bit disappointing

Meerkat experience

What a wonderful experience today for my mum. Evie was kind and attentive, informative and generous with her time and care. She explained the process really well and even took photos so we could remember the visit. The meerkats were brilliant, so friendly and inqusitive.

Would throughly recommend this experience and all the staff who are so kind and patient. Lovely local farm with great experiences available. A local gem ❤️

We had the best day on Saturday, we started with a really lovely, good value breakfast in the cafe and a mooch around the gorgeous farm shop. Jack was our guide for the alpaca experience and was very knowledgeable and interesting, he obviously loves his job and that shows in his enthusiasm and love for the animals. All of the animals are well cared for by highly trained and professional staff, we had a wonderful time. Sheila the sheep was a highlight, I didn't know sheep could have such a personality! We will be back soon.

My daughter wanted a meerkat experience and I was surprised to find this place very near to me. I took my daughters and partners and my four grandchildren. It is only a small venue but ideal for little ones. Safe place to run and play and feed the animals. The staff absolutely make this place, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and happy to help they made our day and meerkat experience and I hope they appreciate just how good you all are. We then went to the cafe for Sunday lunch and again was blown away by the beautiful huge dinners and friendly staff, they all bought out the birthday cake and sang. Just a fabulous reasonably priced day out. Well worth a visit

Lovely place to visit with the kids. We spent around 2 hours in there - feeding animals and playing in the play area.
Chinno and Bishop ( the owls), the 2 cucktoos , the alpacas & the llamas, the goats, Shetland ponies (Daisy and her family) are the STARS!!!!! (Along with all the reptiles at the entrance)
We were able to feed the animals, pet the owls and groom and take the Shetland pony for a small stroll.
Everyone working in here are very friendly and very patient with all the questions the kids and myself had about the animals.
Kids loved it so much that my daughter has already re-booked a visit on her birthday!!!!
Thank you all there.

Visited today spur of the moment with my two kids age 10 and 7. We visited similar time last year and were pleased to see changes and new animals added to the farm.

It’s a lovely place from the minute you arrive, friendly staff in the cabin who engage and chat with the children straight away. Every staff member we met were enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their animals, the positivity radiated through.

Wide variety of animals including the beautiful marmoset monkeys, meerkats and of course the alpacas.

We stayed just over 3hrs with a snack in the cafe. Kids didn’t want to leave and my daughter has now said when she grows up, she wants to work here 😆

We visited the farm today for Easter! We were extremely impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of all the staff members, everyone offered to get my 3 year old involved. The farm is lovely and extremely well looked after. It’s lovely to see a farm where the animals are so obviously well cared for. We can’t wait to return on a warmer day🌟

What a lovely place! We visited today with our four year old and stayed for four hours. It looks small on arrival but there was so much to do. A great Easter programme throughout the day where my son could feed chickens, meet the reptiles, hold guinea pigs and feed the alpacas and llamas. All the animals/birds we saw were healthy in clean enclosures. The jumping pillow and play area were also great. Really friendly staff too. Will definitely return!

We did the Alpaca experience and spent time at the farm. Big shout out to Jamie who was fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and made sure that we had the best time. He is a credit to the farm and after having a great time, I have recommended a trip down to friends and family.

Absolutely fantastic day. Myself and a colleague brought a young boy who is currently under Acorns Children’s Hospice. He has recently undergone radiotherapy, as a palliative care children’s nurse, making memories is something we are extremely compassionate about. Dan made it happen and Jamie was absolutely phenomenal. Jamie gave the young boy an experience of a lifetime. Nothing was too much and we are so very grateful for making today so special for him and his sister. Thank you

I won a meerkat competition on Facebook for a meerkat experience for two. The communication from Burntwood alpaca was second to none from the start and they swiftly organised a mutually convenient date for my son and I to visit.

On the day we were greeted by two lovely keepers who made a real fuss of my son and showed us to the meerkat enclosure. As soon as we were in there my son was a little anxious but the girls were so patient with him. The girls were full of knowledge about the meerkats and had so much passion and enthusiasm for all the animals it was so lovely to see. I remember one of their names as Holly.

By the end of the experience my son was sat on the floor feeding the meerkats and allowing them to come over and sit on us and that was largely down to how relaxed the girls were around the meerkats and my son.

Before we left, the keepers let us stroke a turtle and a tortoise and told us a few fun facts about reptiles and my son loved going home to tell his dad about what he had learnt.

Thank you so much for such a lovely experience and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

The girls particularly liked the little ponies, the alpacas( obviously 😃) and George and Winston the tortoises 🐢 who they could pick up! Oh and Candyfloss the rabbit!

Nice place to get your kids close and personal with some non human animals, incidentally the humans at this place are pretty friendly too, best of all you get to hold some of the animals too, was a real mud bath when we went due to the rain so wear some wellington boots if it's rained recently, also they have a shop onsite with hot food setup if you need a snack, oh and the toilets are clean too, excellent all round, plenty to keep the kids occupied for a few hours
