Dynasty, Death and Discovery…in Sand - World champion sculptor and BBC’s Deadly Art presenter Nicola Wood brings sand sculpture to Old Town Venues Leicester like you’ve never seen it before. 22nd to 31st August.
City Festival: Leicester Castle Tells its Story at Leicester Castle, 11am to 3pm. Bring your tablets and smartphones to listen to the voices of those who worked at the Castle courtrooms, immerse yourself in the story of the Green Bicycle murder, complete the interactive family trail and explore centuries of Castle history and architecture.
City Festival: Anthony King: The Magna Carta Show, 1:00am until 4:00pm. Join comedian and songwriter Anthony for a light-hearted slant at the Magna Carta.
Old Town Festival Family Day at Jubilee Square & Cathedral Gardens 11am to 5pm. Featuring medieval characters and a tented village with arts and crafts, battle and armour demonstrations.
