Mary Poppins @ Curve Theatre
– book your tickets to see the magical story of the world’s favourite Nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane. 7:30pm

Diwali: Wheel of Light - a 110-foot Ferris wheel is set to be a spectacular new addition to Leicester’s Diwali celebrations. Located on Belgrave Road, it is there until the end of Diwali. 

Writing Radio Drama Workshop at The Quaker Meeting House - this workshop will help you discover which stories work on radio, encourage you to think in Sound and give you an insight into how to get your work commissioned. From 11am.

Get an email account – if you haven’t already got one, this is the class to learn. Leicester Central Library, 2pm.

An Evening with John Barnes at Grosvenor Casino - the evening includes 2 Course Meal, Free Photo, Free Bottle of Beer, £5 Gaming chip for the Casino. From 7:00pm.

A Streetcar Named Desire @ The Curve Theatre - New Orleans 1930s. Blanche arrives at her sister’s tiny apartment in the lively French Quarter, her world falling apart and haunted by the loss of the family’s luxurious Southern mansion. 7:15pm.

Destination Space at The National Space Centre - As UK born ESA Astronaut Tim Peake gets ready to launch to the International Space Station, join the crew to give him the boost he needs. 

Diwali: India’s Gateway: Gujarat, Mumbai & Britain @ New Walk Museum - India's Gateway traces the history of Gujarat and Mumbai as age-old centres of trade and migration, focusing on their remarkable links with Britain.

A Real Mermaids Tale @ Curve Theatre - An exciting adventure on the high seas with pirates, monstrous sea creatures and mermaid treasure. Shows on at 11am and 1pm

She Called Me Mother at Leicesters Pub Theatre - Come along to The Western Pub for a great production. Evangeline is waiting for a ticket home to Trinidad and for the daughter she let walk away years ago.
