Support Needed For Rainbows Festival of Fireworks

Organisers of this year’s Rainbows Festival of Fireworks, the children’s hospice’s annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display at Leicester Racecourse, require a local company to help with sponsorship at this year’s event.

Nicola Adcock, Events Fundraiser said, “Our bonfire is a fantastic event, but very high cost and we have been unable to secure funding from local companies.  We really need support to help us meet the cost of putting on this very special event as it is one of our biggest events of the year and one of the best fireworks displays in the area.”

Organisers are appealing for local businesses to support the event and are looking for up to £15,000, either from one organisation or from a number of companies. In return they will receive VIP treatment for their assistance on the night.  Nicola adds, “The Racecourse is a fantastic venue and if we can get support from local businesses, we’d like to say thank you to them by inviting them and their families to attend the event as our guests.”

The Rainbows Festival of Fireworks takes place at Leicester Racecourse on Saturday 7th November and features a huge bonfire and two amazing fireworks displays. Further entertainment will be provided by Leicester Sound’s Damien St John.  A fantastic fun fair will also be onsite.

All money raised on the night will benefit Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. For more information and to sponsor the event, please contact Nicola on 01509 638 026.
