February’s First Friday promises a feast of music, poetry, storytelling and theatre.
First Fridays promote Lancaster Arts City by encouraging residents and visitors to try something new on the district’s cultural scene on the First Friday of each month.
Lancaster Castle’s magical Christmas line up continues with a weekend of special festive treats for all the family on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December
Last week’s Christmas lights switch on in Lancaster was a huge success, seeing 300 ‘Santa-dashers’, 4,000 visitors to Lancaster Castle and a huge number of visitors to shops, bars, cafes and restaurants throughout the town during the day.
Lancaster certainly knows how to do Christmas, and this year’s festivities look set to be bigger and better than ever before. With the emphasis on the culture surrounding our historic city, together with celebrities, Santas, live music and dancing, this year’s Christmas switch on really is a day out not to be missed.
