Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol — A Ghostly Recitation at Kelmarsh Hall 🎄🎩
Step into the candlelit splendour of the Saloon at Kelmarsh Hall and experience A Christmas Carol as it was originally brought to life by Charles Dickens himself.
Join us for an evocative recitation by Fin Tyson, performing from Dickens’ own abridged version of the text, used during his renowned reading tour of the UK in 1860. This is a dramatic, atmospheric telling of the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the spirits of Christmas, and the redemption that follows.
Please note: This performance is a faithful recitation of the original ghost story and may not be suitable for very young children expecting a light-hearted theatrical experience.
