This 'Hand raised' pork pie wedding cake crafted by Mark is almost a stone in weight and was made for clients in London.
This may sound like an unusual cake to have at your wedding but if you really like pork pie this is the way to do it. The cake when portioned would have served an awful lot of people so it was probably the main course as well.
So congratulations to the bride and groom on doing something different.
I have to say here that I have eaten several of Marks pies and they are just so good, I have taken them to friends down at the pub to be shared on the bar. This encouraged some of them to come over to Kettering to buy some and that says something about them.
