A great family day out with something for everyone, couldn't recommend more. All of the animal enclosures are generously-sized and natural in line with the zoo's conservation focus. The keeper talks are fascinating and well worth arranging your day around, especially for the less-popular animals. Don't miss the otters right in the middle of the park.

Raises the human spirit, a place that shows that someone in this World is fighting for the animals

The animals all look well cared for and have plenty of space. It is the first zoo I have come away from and not felt sorry for the animals!

There is a bus direct to the zoo from St Helier bus station. Some buses take twice as long so look out for which bus is coming. I'd rather call this a conservation park than a zoo. It's a relatively small size. You can see everything and grab something to eat in about 4 hours. They have various keeper talks throughout the day. We saw the gorilla talk which was very interesting. Who knew gorillas don't like asparagus? You can tell the staff are passionate about conservation. There's a lot of unusual or lesser kept animals. They have fantastic habitats to live in. The orangutans were an amusing group to watch. The cafe at the entrance was amazing. The food tasted great and there was a good selection. They also had vegetarian and vegan deserts. Definitely recommend a visit!

Nice to visit a zoo that has different animals to tigers and giraffes, the bats were fantastic. The only negative point would be that people were smoking as we were walking around. A full day will spent, will visit again.
