More of a conservation trust than a zoo so don't expect the usual animals e.g. tigers and lions.<br>Great enclosures especially thinking how small Jersey is. Probably the best "zoo" I've been to and I've been to a lot. Amazing chances to get close to animals due to the design of each area. Keeper talks are very informative and allow further chances to see the animals up close but not in a freak show kind of way.

We usually visit once or twice a year, March or November, so we are used to animals hiding out of the wind and cold weather. The staff are always happy to answer our questions about the animals and their care and the philosophy behind the zoo is excellent. This was our first visit since the rebranding to Jersey Zoo, and nothing had changed, apart from the signage, which was good. The cafe had a good selection of drinks and luscious cakes with clean and environmentally friendly toilets. The animals live in as natural surroundings as possible which makes spotting the tropical birds a tad difficult but so be it. This is conservation zoo, not a place to see animals that are common in the wild or not endangered. The new butterfly house was amazing and the volunteer staff knowledgeable, we will be back when next in Jersey...

Well laid out zoo, but a lot of the animals were out of view. ie, in there sleeping area. But nevertheless we enjoyed what we saw. A good job all-round to the staff.
