Great zoo to visit, we was really impressed by the conservation/breeding work being done for endangered species. The Gerald Durrell story building was a real eye opener.
Should add the animals are great as well

Well deserving its reputation as an iconic zoo. The aye-ayes were especially fascinating and well kept in a sound proof enclosure.

A lovely zoo in Jersey. Reasonable price to get in. Animals all look happy and well looked after. Highlights were the bear, the fruit bats (they were massive), the sloath which came out it’s basket to eat food, see pics and the butterflies, a great day, well recommended. There is a regular bus from StHelier as well as a large car park if you drive 👍

Un beau zoo familiale qui est bien entretenu, des parcs magnifiques.
Des animaux avec des enclos adaptés à leur besoins.
Des toilettes très propres.
Accessible facilement en bus.
( pas d'explications en français mais c'est pas dérangeant).

Amazing selection of animals and very nice surroundings. The talk by the bat keepers was a highlight and would recommend it to others. Been to lots of zoos and it was nice seeing some unusual and less-common animals like the fruit bats! A great day out - can easily fill a whole day.

Always love showing visitors around here. Staff on hand to answer questions. Annette the orangutan loves looking at the contents of your bag. The sloths made our day with a sleepy appearance as did the new aardvark. The new toistoise area is fabulous and a must see.
