An absolutely fantastic zoo, the best I have ever visited. It has beautiful gardens and well kept enclosures. The gorilla’s were spectacular, I’ve never seen such idyllic enclosures for each animal. And all the animals seemed to be out on show doing their thing! Wonderful day, highly recommended! Thank you Gerald Durrell for this amazing legacy!

Lovely zoo, very clean and animals look healthy. Kids loved it, grounds were beautiful and the local charity shop outside was a fun bonus. Can't buy tickets in advance.

Not a big amount of animals here, bat enclosure was the highlight of the visit.

Wonderful place to visit, marvellous conservation projects- you MUST visit the Bat House. My only criticism is the signage around the park, which is "aspirational" rather than accurate and occasionally missing all together. We missed one talk because it was unsigned and had to ask about another. Please fix this for a truly great experience.

Zoo enclosures are a reasonable size with ample enrichment, staff clearly treat the animals well. Lots to see and the cafe food is good too!

A revisit from 30years ago. And once again just loved every minute of it. From my husband trying to find tiny blue frog's to photograph to the majestic gorillas, with such knowing eyes!

A great little zoo, our little one loved it. The Dodo cafe has a nice play area. It's a great way to spend a day with the family.

Very good tbf, £18 a head but nice grounds, seems well run, food in the cafe was surprisingly good (big fan of the candied 🌶 in the burger), we have a 14 month old so used the change facilities, lots of toilets and all clean and well equipped.

Lovely zoo with good sized enclosures but somewhat overgrown. Didn't see many animals as they seemed to be hiding.

Felt overgrown (maybe staff shortages). Many animals hidden in tall undergrowth. That said, we enjoyed our time there and would recommend it.

Fabulous, small but very well laid out, we had some terrific views of the animals particularly the bat exhibit. Very helpful staff nothing negative to say at all.
