I instructed Legacy cleaning with the deep cleaning job of the kitchen and bathroom in the flat that we bought. Both had not been cleaned in years and were very filthy. Rachel and her colleague did a great job, they did so well that I asked them to clean the equally filthy carpets the next day as the carpet cleaner had let me down. They went over the carpets 3 times and managed to achieve a major improvement. I was very happy with the services provided by Legacy cleaning and was impressed that they responded straight away and were one of the few people I had hired who actually turned up at the appointed time while others let me down. I can certainly recommend their services.

The skill displayed and the sheer hard graft cheerily put in was striking - they are obviously very proud of their work and with justification. Everything was left so tidy both in my garden and all the way along the considerable drag to the chipper. Top job, top team - respectful, informative and friendly. Thanks again.

The historic British Schools Museum on Queen Street in Hitchin provides information and entertainment to visitors from around the UK and the world in the heart of the town. The buildings were rescued from possible demolition in 1990 after the original school closed in 1969, more than 150 years after the first school on the site. Now the historic listed buildings house an impressive collection of 47,000 items.
We (3 adults) arrived less than 40min before closing, but decided to go ahead with the tour. We were told it would be a bit of a rush and we were the only ones there. The guide and narrator was really excellent. We were quite engrossed all the time. I could go on. Worth every penny. Can't recomment enough.

Located on Paynes Park on the edge of Hitchin's historic town centre, Hitchin Library contains a host of resources and the people to help you locate the entertainment and education you need, local information and international resources. Hitchin Library offers a wide variety of services, including classic, modern and international fiction to borrow, alongside films on DVD and music CDs as well as access to information services on the local area as well as any number of global topics of interest.
One surprisingly little know fact is that there is more to the library than what can been seen on its shelves. Membership also gives you access to a growing collection of ebooks and audio books than can be downloaded to your computer at home, and an impressive electronic reference library. In addition there is a collection of over 100 magazines than can be downloaded – things like New Scientist, for example, which would normally cost over £500 to subscribe to. You get the full magazine, with all the illustrations, using a system called Zinio. The only downside is that all of these services use different applications and can be slightly fiddly to set up, but they are all well worth the effort. We attended a friends christening party at the priory at the weekend - what a fantastic venue! The staff were very attentive and the afternoon tea was of a really high standard. Would highly recommend!

Meet and do business with other like-minded women at business support and networking specialist, the Women in Business Network (WIBN). There are 3 groups locally running in Hitchin, Stevenage and Letchworth/Baldock.
After two visits to the WIBN Hitchin I decided to join and I do not regret it. I have recently started a new business and it has been a great place to share my business but more then that it has been a great place to meet like minded woman, who support each other. Louise who runs the WIBN Hitchin group, is great at keeping the meetings focused, but also interesting and we have lots of fun. I would highly recommend that any women in business attend for a visit and see just how good it is to have an opportunity to talk and share ideas, In a friendly environment but that is also serious about business and helping your business grow and develop.
