Always a bit of a joke in our family as our dad used to do the overnight shift answering the phones. "What? Someone rings up feeling a bit low, and gets you? You grumpy old f**t!"But a very good charity none the less.
The QMT is a great asset for Hitchin in the centre of town, and has been putting on amateur shows for years. Really good.
Such a lovely building, beautiful grounds, and this is where I had my first job after uni.
Was there last night. Some of my favourite people in Hitchin hang out there, and, growing up on Fishponds Road, I wish I spent more time in there as a kid really. Hoegaarden was very good, the real ale is Green King stuff, but very well kept, and they do food and music very nicely.
