WordSmart Communications Ltd is run by award-winning journalist and former newspaper editor Barry Hunt.

Barry has more than 22 years' experience working with words and understands the value and importance of well-written, engaging and exciting content for businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes.

“Prior to starting my own business, I spent six years as a commercial editor for a leading media company,” says Barry, who lives with his family in Ware. “Now I’m offering my skills and experience to local businesses in the Herts and Essex area.

“Whether you need a tweet or an annual report, your message must be clear and relevant to your target audience. Many business owners presume people know what they do, but customers need to be informed before they make a choice.”

As a former newspaper editor and commercial editor, Barry brings a journalistic approach to content marketing, combining the skills he acquired in the newsroom with his experience of PR and copywriting for clients in a wide range of sectors.

From an important email to a light-hearted blog, WordSmart Communications will do the hard work so you can concentrate on your day-to-day business. In addition, it can source or organise photography to accompany the copy.

WordSmart Communications prides itself on offering professional and effective social media management. Daily content can be created and posted on your Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts to help build new relationships with potential customers. If someone sends a message or query, they will receive a response within 24 hours.
