I attended the Get Growing workshop yesterday. It was a great workshop with some really good tools to get you thinking about your business goals and planning for the year. Jodie Newman was a superb facilitator.

Had a fantastic session with Jodie from The Business Allotment yesterday. It was a really informative and productive planning session. Myself and my colleague found it a great way to start 2018. Using her expertise Jodie helped us plan a marketing strategy for the next 12 months - goal setting followed by planning our actions for the year. Jodie has a wide breadth of knowledge which helped her guide us through creating our plan and we felt she really understood our business. A super session and I would highly recommend her.

Would really recommend any business looking at gaining something more than the ‘norm’ from a Team Building away day.
Forget your rope and paper straws. This is all about working with and listening to your team and their ideas of how your business can improve.
The day started with an uplifting talk about where the business is and where it is going before Jodie took the reins and guided us through a fun and structured day of discovery; from thinking about our personal and business skills to the skills our colleagues view us to have.
The day was full of insightful, methodical and thought provoking team exercises where we worked to shape the future of our business. Of course, Rome wasn't built in a day ... but we came away feeling positive and with at least one agreed workable action point that will improve the way we work and that will benefit our business and our clients.

Jodie's training session was excellent. For our team it really highlighted some important gaps in the business and genuinely challenged us to engage with each other to find a workable solution to help us work together for the better. It had great application to day to day workings and I've taken away some honest learning points which I will try to implement back into my working environment.

It was a relaxed atmosphere and Jodie made you feel very welcome and you had the chance to ask questions which she gave suggestions back.. It was nice to pick up tips today that I didn't expect from the session which was really helpful. I will definitely go to more sessions (I have already booked 2 more) and will recommend the Business Allotment to fellow business managers.
