With the new season fast approaching one of the priorities is to put in place the advertising and sponsorship activities that are essential in promoting the club and its teams. There are 4 ways of doing this:
Advertise in the match programme
A full colour page costs £500 and each advertisement will be seen throughout the season, 15 games in total. Advertisers receive additional benefits such as season tickets and participation on our website allowing them to include logos, editorial and web links. Copy date August 14th.
Match and Ball Sponsorships
Alternatively, or in addition Match and Ball Sponsorships are available. These provide an excellent opportunity to entertain clients or guests in the convivial atmosphere of the club, enjoy a pre-match lunch with wine, receive advertising in the matchday programme, watch a great game and enjoy a post match buffet. Packages are available from £250 to £1000.

Pitchside boards or banners
Finally there is the opportunity to advertise at the ground itself on one of the pitchside boards or banners.

Mike Kann organised a very successful scheme last season. Although he does not wish to do this for the coming season, for personal reasons, we would like it to continue for it was certainly the most successful one in the league. Your support will be greatly appreciated by the club and the players who clearly enjoyed the relationships so established.
I am writing to ask all members to consider being to be part of the scheme for 2009/10 and last year's sponsors are being given first option to consider continuing with their sponsorship for a further year. We do have a number of new players and some who were not sponsored last season as per the list.given below If you would like to sponsor any on this list please advise Mary Worsdell at the office. The sponsorship will cost £150 (minimum) per player as last season.
You will have an opportunity to size up the 'runners' when they play in the pre-season matches on August 15th (Ampthill), August 22nd (Esher), August 27th (Reading Abbey). If you decide to back a player, having weighed up the form at one or all of these games, it would be very helpful if you could let Mary know by September 5th, the date of the first home game, when the Hawks play Westcombe Park in National League 2 (South) and the Wanderers, our second team, the same club in the Rugby Tech (formerly Canterbury) Shield on the same day.
As an added incentive all 'back-a-player' sponsors for the season will be eligible for entry for a draw to win a Dry Leas Gold membership for 2010/11 to be drawn at the end of this season.
