What a fantastic weekend weather wise. After the fog lifted the sky was a beautiful azure blue and it was much warmer than many days in August. On Saturday mornig we popped down the hill to watch the Olympic Rowers Parade through the centre of Henley. The turnout was very good and it made you proud to be British and come from Henley. Mayor Gill Zaks and rower Steve Williams both made good speeches from the top of the bus outside the Town Hall. The Open Top Bus parade around the town was very well
supported and I'm sure that the local shops did well with so many people visiting the Town. Maybe we should have an Olympic parade every weekend!!
