I've run Corporate divisions historically, and have run my own business since 1995 - before the ubiquitous world wide web and even e mail - the rules of engagement have changed, and change we must reflect as individuals. I have little natural empathy with the administration of Social Media in general, but I do recognise the necessity of having a connection and back up to one's web presence - and Cale does a great job of doing what I really don't have the time or the inclination to do myself. Sometimes the mundane and downright boring gear you need to fulfill the function of the modern office just isn't there anymore! Agh!! And then what do you do? Simple really. Roger will deliver anything pretty quickly within his territory and he doesn't charge for doing so -a unique selling point these days. He knows we don't get very excited about paper, be it flat or on rolls, but he knows we have to have the materials, and responds accordingly. You get what you pay for, and his pricing is fair. More to the point, you can reduce inventories of this stuff and let him carry it for you - in short order he'll deliver and even manage to smile about it! For anyone determined to save pennies by buying from the usual big criminals - you're almost certainly saving nothing or thereabouts. Give Roger a try. Support local business and see what he can do for you. We get our stationery from him and now it's something we don't have to worry about. Now we really don't care!!
What I really ‘get’ about Roger’s company is the similarity of approach in what I do with mine - Customer Service in the genuine old fashioned sense. No survey confirmations required, you order, he delivers. Isn’t that the deal? His pricing is fair, his big picture means no stupid delivery charges, a big range of gear available...we all neec this stuff, and Roger does, I know, bother with his sourcing costs in order to ensure we, as customers, get a fair shake and don’t have to spend an age digging around to save a quid. He and Debbie try hard, if you need stationery and all the ‘stuff’ that your outfit needs to function - no point in looking elsewhere, you’re just making life complicated for yourself and your company...

I was slightly reluctant to be drawn into the 21st Century with all this Social Media 'stuff' - but I came to realise that times have well and truly changed, and that the ability to change in a changing environment is not only sensible but vitally important.
