This week I am off to the annual Woking Means Business exhibition.
The free one day event is a great opportunity to network with new contacts and catch up with current ones alongside attending stands and seminars to listen, learn and be inspired.
And as much as I embrace communicating via modern technology (where would we all be without email and Twitter) nothing beats face to face interaction with real people in the real world. Particularly if a free glass of wine is on offer too – thanks B Websites, I’m looking forward to mine already!
This time last year my company – Claire Dee Communications – was only a month old and due to my corporate City background I knew very few people in the Surrey business community. I therefore attended Woking Means Business to change this and make a difference and thanks to the warm welcome and energetic atmosphere I was able to do just that.
So for your local fix of business news, ideas, products and services why not visit Woking Means Business too. Hopefully, I’ll see you there.
The Woking Means Business exhibition takes place at the H G Wells Conference & Events Centre in Woking on Thursday 7 October from 9.30am to 5pm. For further information visit: www.wokingmeansbusiness.com
