Storytelling in Guildford for National Libraries Day, 9 February
4th February 2013

Libraries play a very important role in communities, providing free access to books, newspapers and the internet as well as opportunities to rent music and films and meet authors. They are a fantastic resource for families too, as this year's plans for National Libraries Day shows.

Surrey libraries will be hosting the Big Storytime on 9 February with the majority of libraries holding half-hour long story sessions throughout the day. Some of the libraries are inviting children to come dressed up and others are putting on craft activities too. All the events are free - click here for a full list.

Big Storytime is held at various libraries in the Guildford area on 9 February from 10am - a great start to half term!
