As we all start to feel a bit more summery, our minds turn to barbecues, strawberries and sandals. But what about the evenings?
Well, MKB, the bar of the Radisson Blu Edwardian, knows just how to spend a summery evening! Their new cocktail menu sounds perfect for the warmer weather, bringing you flavours from all round the Mediterranean – Cognac, Tequila and Sangria all feature – and even as far as North Africa for Casablanca Julep, which is plum-infused bourbon, Moroccan spices, lemon juice and mint leaves, I’m told. If you can’t find your passport, there’s always the Surrey Spritz – gin and elderflower liqueur with prosecco (so even that’s a tiny bit Italian!).
As you sip, you can listen to sets from MKB’s two resident DJs. Dan Bewick’s there every Friday, warming everyone up for the weekend with cool classics and funky house while Steve Krafft shares his sounds on Saturdays: soul, funk, rare groove, club classics and smooth vocal house.
