Members of The Chicken/Egg Theatre Company will be performing a contemporary take on Jason Robert Brown’s off-Broadway musical ‘The Last 5 Years’ at Bar des Arts on May 21 and 22.
The group has put together a contemporary take on the original musical by Jason Robert Brown. The story is based on Brown’s own failed marriage and it offers an honest look at the highs and lows of relationships and a genuine struggle through the world of the arts.
The musical stars Emma Barry as Cathy Hyatt and Matthew Westrope as Jamie Wellerstein.
It is musically directed by Alex Howe, directed by Jamie Seal and assistant directed by Aaron Douglas. Jamie and Aaron are two of the theatre company’s founders.
