My own sister, currently a drama teacher was once an aspiring young actress and having graduated from Drama Centre in Chalk Farm she spent some years at Alan Ayckbourn's Theatre in the Round in Scarborough.

Ayckbourn's plays, some of them extremely well known are always entertaining - and always full of humour based upon everyday life and everyday characters  - why not treat yourself to a bit of culture !!

From the website .....

Winnie lives in a world full of adults. She’s off school for the day and has an essay to write… “My Wonderful Day”

What better time to write it than today? What better opportunity than quietly seated unnoticed in a corner, whilst mother busies herself around the house? What better source of material than the bizarre and increasingly frenetic comings and goings of adults in the weird household in which she finds herself?

Sit with Winnie and observe her “wonderful” day and prepare to be appalled!  Grownups, really, they’re such children...

MY WONDERFUL DAY is a brand new play, written and directed by Alan Ayckbourn.

"Ayesha Antoine’s playing of Winnie, around whom events revolve, is quite astonishing" THE STAGE

"Ayckbourn has struck gold with the discovery of Ayesha Antoine" THE GUARDIAN
