Bar des Arts is hosting the charity night with live music from Izzie Edwards on Friday, July 11 from 8pm in aid of Combat Stress.
Izzie will be performing some tunes and there will be a special cocktail and food menu for people to purchase from. People can also enter a raffle to win a variety of great prizes. Raffle tickets will cost £2 per strip.
Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity which helps Veterans with psychological injuries rebuild their lives after leaving the Armed Forces.
The charity is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year. It helps more than 5,400 Veterans including 662 who have served in Afghanistan.
It spends more than £14 million per year delivering its specialist treatment and welfare support. People receive treatment for free.
Entry on the evening will cost £5 per person and all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the charity. Booking is advisable and can be done by calling the bar on 01483 453227.
