Bar des Arts will be hosting a Latin-themed ‘Rum in the Sun’ evening on Thursday, April 25 from 8pm.
People will be able to enjoy some traditional Latin music from musicians Lucas and Malena Savala. There will also be a variety of themed drinks and cocktails using a traditional Panamanian rum called ‘Abuelo’ for people to buy.
Argentinian Lucas and Malena began performing together in 2011. The duo grew up in a creative environment surrounded by artists and musicians.
Their influences include Buena Vista Social Club and Sergio Mendes and they will be playing a special set in Spanish and Portuguese on the night.
