Many of us love horses but not all of us know a great deal about them. We’d love to ride but we want to understand the basics first. Wendy Price at the Holistic Horse and Pony Centre knows this only too well and has created a twelve week foundation course. The course is designed to build confidence and create an awareness of how a horse behaves and should be treated. You’ll learn how to approach a horse as well as all about grooming, tacking up and the basics of horse care and horsemanship.
The course runs every Tuesday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm from 7 Jan until 1 April, except for 18 February (half term). There is a £70 deposit then two payments of £165. Alternatively, if you pay in full by 31 December you’ll receive a 10% discount; in other words, you’ll pay £70 deposit + just £290 for the course.
