John and Jen, the newest production from the Guildford Fringe Theatre Company, promises to be as enlightened and thought-provoking as we’ve come to expect. This two-hander musical looks at relationships, first between Jen and her brother John, then between Jen and her son, also named John. The storyline is at once funny, tender and moving and should be a wonderful night out at the theatre.
To make this even more wonderful, there’s going to be a party on 8 May! This is in honour of another Guildford business, Tinx Training, which is celebrating its first birthday. Tinx Training offers personal training in and around Guildford, tailoring weight loss and fitness training programmes to suit your needs. The Guildford Fringe and Tinx have teamed up to bring you not only theatre but also a party with a free drink, canapés and cake after the performance, included in the £14.50 ticket price. To book your ticket for John and Jen on party night, 8 May, email Charan at Tinx Training on email@example.com.
John & Jen will be performed at the Star Inn on Quarry Street from 7-17 May with performances at 8pm every night. You can book tickets here and visit the Facebook page to keep up with all the Guildford Fringe News. For tickets for 8 May, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
