Hansson Silks is celebrating 21 Years of business!
Hansson Silks was first established in 1993 and was opened by the Mayor
of Guildford. A small family run business, Hansson Silks was opened in 1993, providing an exclusive, extensive range of silks, French laces and embroideries which have been used for bridal wear, evening wear and soft furnishings. Hansson Silks also supports local theatres as well as arts and textile schools.
To mark the twenty-first birthday, Sweta and the team are holding an Open Day this Saturday,
5th July, between 11am and 6pm. The shop is on the corner of North Street and Woodbridge Road (above Krispy Kreme) – they’re on the first floor so just pop upstairs!
As well as celebrating the “coming of age,” Hansson Silks is also using its open day to thank its loyal clients: all the dress makers, fashion designers and interior designers who have used their fabrics over the years. They’ve also had support of the local schools, businesses and the
Guildford community - everyone is welcome to attend this uplifting event! It’s also a great opportunity to do a bit of networking, and there’ll be drinks and nibbles too.
