It may be freezing outside but already we are working on this year's Guildford Summer Festival.
The dates for your diary are 1 June to 31 July 2012 and the brochure - when its out on the streets at the beginning of May will contain all the events in the Borough for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the torch relay and the Olympics as well as all your usual favourites.
The brochures will be available at the beginning of May at information points such as the Tourist Information Centre, libraries, museums and galleries, hotels and restaurants - and of course at the Surrey County Agricultural Show.
Although the official deadline has passed to submit events, there is still a time if you are quick to get your event included in the brochure.
Just email guildfordsummerfestival@guildford.gov.uk for a form - fill it in and return it by Tuesday 7 February 2012.
