Guildford Borough Council and Hart Council have joined forces in a successful bid for funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). The DECC has granted the two councils £100,000 to help boost current initiatives to improve the energy efficiency of park homes (detached, pre-fab bungalows). The money will go towards better insulation, energy efficient boilers and double glazing, in turn, helping to reduce heating bills for those who live in park homes.

For details about applying for heating and insulation grants, and other home improvement grants, please visit the Guildford Borough Council Website or call 01483 444 302.
