Guildford accountants run 10k for charity

A team of eight from the Guildford office of UK leading accountancy and business advisory firm, PKF (UK) LLP, has completed a 10k run and raised money for thebestofguildford member and children’s hospice charity CHASE.

 

The PKF team took part in the 10k run earlier this month at Loseley Park.  Of the 715 runners, first past the finishing post from the team in 49th place was assurance and advisory manager Nick Poulter who completed the course in 46 minutes.  A personal best beating his own time from last year of 53 minutes and setting a new record for the Guildford office of PKF.

 

Organiser and PKF trust services manager Mark Francis says: “It was a great day despite the bracing weather and there were some terrific performances with almost everyone in the team beating last year’s times by some margin.”

 

Mike Bridge, senior partner of the PKF office in Guildford, adds: “A huge well done and congratulations to the whole team.  Their commitment and determination not only means they successfully completed the course, but they also raised money for a local and deserving charity.”

 

The Guildford office PKF team, in place order, was: Nick Poulter, Rob Van Eyken, Andy Mansell, Olivia Hutchinson, Jon Noble, Craig Hewitt-Dutton, Mark Francis, Dale Butcher.
