Many of you will know the Manor House in Godalming – it’s the independent conference centre and hotel where Godalming Connections is held.  Comfortable, welcoming and, above all, friendly, the Manor House is the perfect professional business environment.  It has ten meeting rooms and thirty-one bedrooms – if you’d like to book it for your next meeting or conference, give them a call on 01483 413 021.

Everyone at the Manor House is very proud that the centre has retained its gold award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme for a third year running. The scheme awards businesses that demonstrate sustainable tourism, looking at areas such as energy and water efficiency, waste management and biodiversity. The Manor House has been rewarded for all its efforts, which include investing in more energy-efficient technology and using local suppliers to minimise the environmental impact of deliveries.

"We are absolutely delighted to have retained this gold award," says Centre Manager Howard Canning. "We first achieved gold two years ago, but as the award is all about continuous improvement, we knew that we couldn’t sit on our laurels if we wanted to maintain the standard. We’ve work hard at being green, so this is Mission Accomplished!"
