FREE Guildford Park and Ride this Saturday

If you cut me in two, you’d find “Park and Ride” written through me like a stick of rock.  I love it! The Guildford Park and Ride is the answer to the driving-in-Guildford problem – losing a second’s concentration and ending up in Shalford can now be a thing of the past, likewise the high parking charges, congestion  and general inconvenience.  The Park and Ride is also great news for Guildford businesses – it leaves customers with more money to spend in the shops and gives visitors unrestricted time in the town centre.

Many of us have been taking advantage of the FREE Park and Ride Saturdays that Guildford has been offering since the start of the year. If you haven’t, the last one is this Saturday, 29 March, so if you’re popping in to get a last minute Mothers Day card, why not park up for free at one of the four locations (the Spectrum, Merrow, Artington and Onslow) and then have a free ride into town?

Onslow is the new Park and Ride location with buses leaving from Surrey Sports Park. The super-low introductory fares are just £1.50, with great deals for weekly and monthly passes too. Remember, you park for free and only pay the bus fare so the longer you spend in town, the more you save.

The Park and Ride is the stress-free way to get into Guildford, saving you money, petrol and parking-space headaches. Full information is available from the Guildford council website.
