This inspiring event will bring together Surrey businesses in celebrating their achievements in spite of the current economic climate and look ahead to more achievements in the future. It is organised by the Surrey Chamber of Commerce and takes place on 14 September 2012 from 8.30am to 6pm at Sandown Park Racecourse.

“This will be our most prestigious event ever. At Surrey Chambers we believe it is vital to emphasise the positive role that companies are playing in the economic recovery, the growth of our communities, and in individuals’ lives. As one of the most successful areas in the country we need to celebrate and encourage businesses to reach their potential. At the conference we will hear inspiring stories and then have the opportunity to celebrate with clients and colleagues at the race afternoon as VIP’s.” said Louise Punter, Chief Executive Officer of Surrey Chambers of Commerce.

Speakers will include Baroness Warsi, Chair of the Conservative Party, and Scott Martin, head of the Costa Express chain. The morning of talks and discussions will be rounded off with what is sure to be a well-informed Q&A session with local business experts.

In the afternoon, a sumptuous three-course lunch will be followed by an afternoon of horse racing, with a champagne draw after every race. All delegates will be served afternoon tea and Business is Good for Surrey winds down at 6pm.

Visit the Business is Good for Surrey  website to book your place. Tickets are £155 for members of the Surrey Chamber of Commerce and £225 for non-members.
