The excitement and anticipation of the winter season at Sandown Park Racecourse kicks off with the first race meeting of the jumps season, the popular Blue Square Gentleman’s Day on Saturday 6th November.  This is a day for the gents to enjoy with plenty of thrilling action both on and off the course to keep male racegoers amused – ladies are very welcome too!

For those of you with a flare for fashion make sure you dress to impress to catch the eyes of the judges from male lifestyle consultants Henry’s Opinion for the Best Dressed Male Competition.  There are some fantastic prizes on offer from House of Fraser including a designer suit and a bottle of champagne.  There is also the chance to enjoy complimentary Grooming and Styling Tips from Henry’s Opinion who will be based in the Grooming Clinic in Surrey Hall.

If it’s pure “boys toys” that you’re after then look no further than the House of Frazer gadgets and gizmos area provided by TEC7, designed to keep the keenest of you occupied.  With products such as HD camcorders and the latest technological accessories, this kind of technology will keep you entertained for hours – don’t forget the racing though!

A Gents day out would not be complete without a bit of a flutter on the gee gee’s and to make the day even more profitable why not visit the ‘fun’ casino that will be at the racecourse to play a bit of blackjack or roulette. The day will then be rounded off with live music from the UK’s leading Rock and Indie tribute band, Hussy.

To book tickets please call Sandown Park on 01372 470047 or visit www.sandown.co.uk. Tickets start at just £15 for Grandstand Admission and £20 for Premier Admission, when booked in advance. As always, children aged under 18 go free.
