For those of you who haven’t heard, from this summer The Brompton Dock has been running a pilot scheme at Guildford station for commuters who prefer to cycle to work.
Brompton bikes are comfortable, easy to ride and famous for their ability to fold up and fit into small secure places.
The Brompton Dock is a simple and convenient bike hire concept in flexible travel.
Accessed by a smartcard, it gives members the freedom of a Brompton bike whenever needed and for as long as they want. And when the bike is returned, usage is calculated by the smartcard and a bill sent electronically to the cardholder each month.
The Guildford station Brompton Dock holds up to 40 bikes for registered members to take and use as they please.
